This week we cooked with some of the students from Room 14. They had to cut up the cabbage, and then cook it up with vegetable stock and then serve it on crackers.
They didn't get to eat any until they had shared it with their classmates and the Year 7/8 helpers. We also looked at some maori tikanga of not wasting food and also not harvesting all of a plant. This means there is some for next time.
Our junior cooks did very well helped by our superb Year 7/8 helpers.
