Hummus

HUMMUS

Ingredients:

400 g tin rinsed and drained chickpeas
2 tablespoons tahini
3 tablespoons lemon juice
2 cloves of crushed garlic
125 mls extra virgin olive oil
salt and pepper to taste

Method

Place chick peas in a high sided bowl and process until smooth using a stick blender. Add other ingredients and blend until well mixed. Turn out into serving bowl taste for seasoning and sprinkle with sumac (or paprika) and drizzle with olive oil to serve.
