Chickens !!!
Today was very exciting as we had our 6 new brown shavers arrive from Chook Manor. Chook Manor has kindly donated the chickens, some food and some leg tags so we can tell the chickens apart.
The Year 4 team will be naming the chickens and looking after them.
This is the first of the chickens sticking her head out of the house to get a look at Oaklands School. They took a wee while to venture down the ramp as their house in Little River didn't have ramps. They have got lots of yummy plants to eat such as silverbeet which we planted to grow over the Christmas holidays.
